Hydgrographics (also known as water transfer printing or carbon fibre dipping) is the highly specialised art of applying a printed design onto almost any 3 dimensional object imaginable.
If in need of any repair, the 3 dimensional object is firstly restored, primed and pre-sprayed in order to prepare for the hydrographics process.
After a chosen base colour has been applied, a specialist hydro tank is used to carry out the water transfer printing process, as a special film with an individual design is delicately applied onto the object.
Once this process is complete and the object is thoroughly dried – a gloss, satin or matt lacquer can be applied.
From metal to plastic or wood to fibre glass, almost any object imaginable can be hydro dipped. Wicked Coatings is able to offer a huge number of custom coating finishes such as kandies, marbelisers, pearlescents, chrome and metal effects or nite glow – to name but a few.
